To love or to murder, that's the question...

(Tim, w/thanks to Joseph) When a father is intent on loving his child and the mother's intent on murdering that child, who should win? Should they go to court and allow a judge to decide for them? Would the judge pull out a sword and make like he was about to slice the child in two, watching to see who loved the child and who hated him? And then, would he award the child to his true loving parent?

Are the child's parents cultured? Do they go to plays and listen to chamber music. Do they like to hike mountain trails? Do they cry?

Murder today is so very banal. And to Christians, it matters not one whit that this child bouncing between murder and love is yet unborn. We know the Only True God Who Himself commanded, "Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man" (Genesis 9:6).
