Christianity Today, in numbers too big to ignore...

Error message

(Tim, w/thanks to Kamilla) Illustrating for the thousandth time their inability to think Biblically about sexual matters, here is the mission statement for the new blog for women just announced by Christianity Today named Her.minutiae...

Her.meneutics is the Christianity Today blog for women, and

provides news and analysis from the perspective of evangelical women.

We cover news stories, ideas, and books related to the church's mission

in the world, including international justice and evangelism, pregnancy

and sexual ethics, marriage, parenting, and celibacy, popular culture,

fashion, health and body image, raising girls, and women in the church

and parachurch.

Would it be hard to guess that CT promotes the ordination of women as pastors and elders seeing here that they speak of "pregnancy" rather than "childbearing" or "childbirth"; of "parenting" rather than "motherhood"?

Then there's that bit about "sexual ethics." Not "purity" or "morality," but "ethics."

Still, I'm pleased it wasn't "gender ethics."
