Proverbs 14:6,7
"A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding. Leave the presence of a fool, Or you will not discern words of knowledge."

When you try to talk with an atheist you get a glimpse into the chasm that is their sorrowfully darkened mind. Praise God for rescuing us from such insanity.

Nietzsche's hatred of God caused him to go insane in his 40s and he died that way in his living with at home with his mother. He was also suicidal his entire life.

Maybe someday we'll meet up with these people when the Holy Spirit has prepared them to hear the truth.

Let us not pay any attention to those who love death but focus on our tasks to save the unborn.

Praise God for showing us what our enemy is like and thus strengthen us in our work in Christ.

David,

Thank you for the wise reminder. The words, "methinks he doth protest too much." spring to mind, don't they?

So you've edited your comments and deleted those that disagree with you - What cowards. (How dare they disagree!)

Your logic is weak, based merely on the word from the bible that you assume is the word of God, when in reality is was written by men.

The argument and criticism that you choke on states that you boldly and arrogantly assume to know something that you cannot possibly know - the mind of god.

>So you've edited your comments and deleted those that disagree with you - What cowards.

Jeff, it appears you're confused. No one's commented under this post. It's the sermon itself where you'll be able to read what you came to this post looking for:

Jeff,

How do you know that the God is so transcendent that his mind is unknowable? How did you come about this particular insight into God? Is not your certainty about God's transcendent nature an arrogant statement if we were to employ your logic?

Oops...one more point to Jeff.

A summary of your logic goes something like this, "How dare anyone say they know anything about God because I know that God is unknowable!" Your consistency is inspiring.

Wonderful examples of “no absolutes/you can't legislate morality” state-education, I must say. Mindless parrots. They don’t want the 10 Commandments in schools, but claim to preach to us about them.

They’ll look good in brown shirts some day, won’t they? They talk about today’s Christian pests like the Nazis did about the sub-human Jews. Since we’re such a menace, maybe we should wear yellow badges so the good citizens such as themselves can be on their guard?

They consider themselves such patriots, yet they wouldn’t have had anything pleasant to say about America’s founders, either.

Their own comments here prove evolution wrong -- how are the blind ever going to be fit to lead, much less survive? A “christian” woman adamantly defends her right to kill her own children. Darwin would call such a stupid society unfit for survival. So here we are, on death’s door, and the evolutionists defend our own corporate suicide. They deny the Instruction Manual, and expect greater prosperity by doing the opposite. What a delusion!

> Those who are commenting angrily on our blog are not God-deniers.

They are God-usurpers, thinking they are more fit for the top job themselves. True equality requires breaking through the celestial ceiling.

> They understand and know God sufficiently to hate Him.
> God has placed the weight of eternity in their hearts and they suffer under it.

They prefer to live in denial through self-worship.

> Tim and I have removed comments from the blog that blaspheme God.
> We will not permit His name to be dishonored here.

We must not let people believe that “free speech” allows anybody to go anywhere and trash anything. Let them defecate in their own living rooms.

> We’ve left those comments that primarily attack us as men.

In that, you are more than gracious -- perhaps too “good old boy Nice”? You are under no obligation to let all that nastiness stand on your own site. They have opportunity enough to say what they will elsewhere. Though, leaving it does serve to clearly show what these people are like.

Nobody has the free speech to come into my house and bad-mouth my wife, for example. The same goes with a person's blog. Constitutional free speech is all about the right to speak against the *government* without reprisals -- something the God-denying fools stormed in and attacked you for doing.

They can't wait until religion is abolished and they can have their secular humanist Utopia. But why wait? They should move to North Korea, where real progress has been attained in this regard.

> He has, in the words of Scripture "placed eternity in the hearts of men."

Yes, if there is no God, and we are descended from animals --and free to act like them-- in an accidental, amoral universe, where in the world do they get the idea that killing is wrong? Evolution is all about dog-eat-dog, the survival of the fittest.

And I wonder how many evolutionists are devoted enviornmentalists? You, know -- the types who want to punish/regulate humans for the sake of every single species of bug that can't cope with progress?

Protecting the weak from the strong is not a Darwinian concept. They must've got it from somewhere else -- Someone else?

And speaking of protecting the weak from the strong, how many of them are against the death penalty for violent criminals, but support the death penalty for unborn children?

How inconsistent can you get? They make it up as they go along, doing whatever is right in their own eyes.

> God's Word tells us that creation by itself, separate from revelation, so demonstrates His reality and perfection that we are without excuse when we rebel against Him.

Hug a tree, and curse God who made it.

Real smart folks!

> [Jeff Olsson] Your logic is weak, based merely on the word from the bible that you assume is the word of God, when in reality is was written by men.

The religion of the atheists and evolutionists was written by men, yet millions of gullible people adhere to it by blind faith and wishful-thinking. Professing to be wise, they have become fools, turning aside to fables.

> The argument and criticism that you choke on states that you boldly and arrogantly assume to know something that you cannot possibly know - the mind of god.

Interesting how atheists and evolutionists boldly and arrogantly assume to know everything that exists happened by accident, that non-life somehow became life, that simple, single cell life forms became incomprehensibly complex creatures by chance. This is their weak Gospel. And they dare say Christianity is mythology!

It is easier to believe the writers of the Bible who say that a God-man was raised from the dead by a Creator Father, than to believe the atheist high priests who say humans randomly originated from green slime, that matter came from nowhere on its own, that there is no sign of intelligent design in the way the the world is so beautifully and wonderfully made.

I don’t have enough faith to believe the fairy tales of the devout evolutionists, created to get themselves off the hook of having to answer to a Supreme Being. I will have to stick to more believable --and verifiable-- stories: such as I am a warped rebel in need of forgiveness and restoration for my transgressions against a Holy, All-Powerful Creator God, for starters.

Far from elevating humanity, evolution/atheism debases it. It is schizophrenia, “...a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality.”

“Distortions in perception may affect all five senses, including sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch, but most commonly manifest as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction.” says Wikipedia.

They deny the obvious evidence all around them in their paranoid attempt to de-throne God. In their serious mental delusion, they will even go so far as to vigorously defend killing their own unborn children.

They will then lecture us on what is right and wrong, even though there are no moral absolutes according to their own religion.
