(Tim) Friends, TypePad is the software that serves this blog and they have an automatic spam filter that's been wreaking havoc with us the past couple of weeks. It's always been somewhat quirky, leading some to conclude that I'm carrying out a personal vendetta against them through it, but that's simply not the case. More recently, though, TypePad updated their software and I'm coming to wonder if our present problems aren't the result of that update. You know, bleeding edge and all that.
It may seem like I should be able easily to correct matters, but I can't...
Nor can I spend the time necessary to go through each comment the software is withholding and compare what's there to what's on the blog, personally posting the comments that don't appear to be duplicates. (Some of you try a number of times and then are finally successful, so I can't simply publish the comments that haven't gotten through because they might be duplicates.)
So, I'm simply asking for your patience. Sooner or later, it will work out, I believe. And I do like TypePad.
One final comment, though: Would you all please chill out and love one another? I'm tired of the aggressiveness over matters that should be able to be discussed in fraternal love. E-communication is very difficult to carry on without harming relationships, and so extra care needs to be taken to avoid needless offense. Would you each please take that extra care?
I always keep in mind that, in the Church, love is said, not to cover a multitude of slights or errors, but "sins." Let's demonstrate that love, men. After all, it's manly.
