Slaughterhouse-Two hundred and fifty thousand (per year)...

England2 (Tim, w/thanks to Mark, James, and David) Across the country, Christians should be refusing to participate in United Way campaigns that fund Planned Parenthood. It's not enough that some United Way chapters allow donors to specify certain charities or exclude others. We should have nothing to do with an organization that provides a single dollar of support for those making a living off the slaughter of unborn babies safely nestled in their mother's womb.

Planned Parenthood is wicked, ruthless, heartless, cruel, deceptive, bloodthirsty, and depraved. Planned Parenthood is also obscenely rich.

How many of your tax dollars will be used this year to fund these worshipers of Molech? Have you and the men of your church opposed that funding? Let's not be monkey see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil men.

To help in our recovery of the pure religion that is undefiled before God and the Father, here are some recent articles exposing the business end of Planned Parenthood...

First, these graphs doing the numbers as only The Wall Street Journal could. Turns out, Planned Parenthood ended this past year with a surplus of $100,000,000 on annual revenue of $1,000,000,000.

Second, another article from The Wall Street Journal detailing Planned Parenthood's expansion out of poverty services into the greener pastures of suburban shopping malls.

Third, a piece from National Review illustrating how those who throw out the big laws end up replacing them with thousands of little ones. National Review reports a Massachusetts Planned Parenthood affiliate has made plans to build a “green” clinic constructed of materials that are recycled or otherwise environmentally friendly. Dianne Luby, president of the Planned Parenthood's Bay State branch, is quoted saying: “we’re trying to reposition ourselves as caring about their health, about prevention, about a sustainable planet.”

A sustainable planet? Does the murder of somewhere around 75,000,000 unborn babies each year qualify us for "sustainable planet" status? And if so, may I ask precisely what is it that's being sustained if coming generations of the unborn are being slaughtered?

Jonathan Swift himself couldn't satirize this monstrosity.

Thanks for pointing this out. Great information.

Hi Tim,

Here's a link to my article that the Illinois Family Institute ran today. It details our local efforts.

Blessings,

"Jonathan Swift himself couldn't satirize this monstrosity."

The problem is that these people can read "A Modest Proposal" and not realize that it is satire. "Well, that's a choice, a freedom that must be protected..." Blech.

As for sustainable... how sustainable do they think a society or ecology is when there's fire and brimstone raining down on it?

Blessings,
Keith

Worship the father rape, your mother! So why do you care if the unwanted are dead instead of hungry, neglected, or just plain (obscenity deleted) unwanted. Until all of you prolifers adopt one oh shit baby, nobody wants to hear you whine. Wake and run back to the garden, burn your stuff, and just live here and now.

Why thanks for putting it all in perspective for us Benjamin.

How apropos then are the carefully chosen pestilences that God inflicts on those who hate him? What is more appropriate than that the utterly self centered, infant murdering, convenience seeking, God hating American should commit self inflicted genocide by destroying their own progeny?

It can also be helpful to write companies who fund them. http://www.fightpp.org

Benjamin Philippi, do you know that one of Tim's daughters has adopted a baby? From Africa? Do you know that's been documented on this very blog?

I suspect your post will be gone soon, as Tim or David will whip out the Delete Stick thanks to your childish use of obscenities. Those who cannot argue without dropping the F-Bomb merit no respect.

Tim or David will whip out the Delete Stick thanks to your childish use of obscenities

I'd blank out the obscenities and leave it.

I can count at least seven adopted children from my time at Tim Bayly's church, and there were at least three adoptions from the church my husband and I attended after relocating to another city. That I know of, three out of ten of those babies were rescued from being aborted, while the others would have been (or were already) in orphanages or foster care. These are statistics from merely two out of thousands and thousands of churches in this country.

So, Mr. Phillipi, perhaps you should do your homework, or at least try to look like you know what you're talking about before showing yourself a crayon-fisted hot head.

Dear Ben,

Thank you for using your real name--it was manly and I respect it. Have you read the history of Planned Parenthood? Of its patron saint and founder, Margaret Sanger? Have you seen a newborn baby in all his beauty, made in the Image of God and filled with the gift of life? What beauty! How kind God is to us, allowing us to create a human life by a husband and wife living together in love.

But Planned Parenthood hates these little ones so much that across this nation their corporation takes money in exhange for killing them. Hundreds of millions of dollars.

Ben, in my experience, those who erupt in anger when this is spoken of have terrible blood-guilt and use an attack upon others to cover their own burning conscience. You know--the best defense is a good offense. This is good in that these souls have not yet seared their consciences so badly that they've stopped feeling anything. There is something worse than a burning conscience and that's a dead one.

But since God has given you the gift of your conscience assaulting you, you must respond to Him and repent. He will receive you, dear friend. He is a friend of sinners. I know--I'm the worst one myself.

Remember the faith your father and mother taught you from infancy, how Jesus Christ came and suffered and died for men who were His and His Father's enemies. Turn to Him and repent of all your sin. Flee to the Cross.

If you do not, you will be consumed by His wrath and there will be no escape.

If you do, you will find rest for your soul.

As He Himself promised:

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I praise Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou didst hide these things from the wise and intelligent and didst reveal them to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well-pleasing in Thy sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son, except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light” (Matthew 11:25-30).

PS: You may not know this, Ben, but our church has a number of adopted children we love. One was adopted after the mother saw our love for her and her child outside the abortuary, calling her to turn from murder. She did; she exited the abortuary and saved her child; then she asked if we had a couple in our church who would adopt her child. We did and he's beautiful. Also, we've had several special needs adoptions--the latest a fetal alcohol syndrome child.

Mary Lee's and my children have adopted one Ethiopian child and are in the midst of adopting another--also from Ehtiopia. So you're right, that anti-abortionists (the term I prefer to "pro-lifers") should not simply say "no," but should say and do "yes," also. We are very weak, but we do work at it.

Why don't you come down for a visit sometime? Heather and Joseph and Michal would love to see you. And maybe even Hannah remembers you.

"So why do you care if the unwanted are dead instead of hungry, neglected, or just plain (obscenity deleted) unwanted."

Oh, but we do care about both, Benjamin. It's why we support food banks like Compa here in Denver. It's why we support World Vision Orphans and give assistance to the fatherless and their mothers in our churches and neighborthoods. It's why we adopt special needs children. It's why a group of churches in Denver bought up a block of former crackhouses and dens of prostitution and gutted them, remodeled them and now provide housing and training for yong mothers and others in need. It's why the owner of a local fabric store donated a dozen sewing machines to Denver Street School and why such a school of last resort is supported by Christians. And it's why I work in Catholic Hospital dedicated to serving its urban neighborhood.

Benjamin, the saddest thing of all about your tirade is that you have bough into the lie that "every child a wanted child" would improve the lives of children. Instead the promise of abortion and no-fault divorce has left us with many, many more children who are hungry, neglected and just plain unwanted. The problem is that disposable children are disposable, no matter what their age.

I have no shame for my thoughts, nor who I am. Wish there where more words to go with them, but I dream in color instead. I know the beauty of life; I am not a man of traditions so yes my little one is a bastard, but a true love child. I could never have killed my seed, nor can I ever walk away from my little Sopia. It's just that there are far more children that aren't murder, that make it past the door in the floor and into this existence that would be better off dead. Children have a lot of needs and it is rare if they even get forty percent of that in a world of act like this and stand over there smile when spoken to. Personally I have little use for such squabbles every dysfunction of that wonderful specie that call them selves people, Education is always lacking, slaughter, misinterpreted.
I have no blood guilt only fire and hatred for that species, there will be no rest for my sole until I get back to the garden
If I ever get to leave Wisconsin I would love to see Indianan. Sorry if I up set you or you viewers like I said the plain in my head for dialect is filled with visions. Hope the fam is in good health.

Dear Friends,

It's unusual for such comments as that made by Ben above to be signed, and thus for us to know the person and life that's given rise to them. My guess is that, almost always, such comments come from desperate sinners who make no effort to hide it; their anger and tormented consciences are right there in plain sight.

It's my inclination to deal with them one of two ways: Either dismiss them and delete their comments, or call them to the Cross. Arguing and exposure are not my first choice.

On the other hand, most of the comments put up here on this blog that oppose what we write--particularly on matters such as abortion and sexuality--come from those who think of themselves as leaders, wise souls, deep thinkers, the cream of the crop. These people should be treated in an entirely different way; not at all with patience and tenderness, but satire, irony, and any other weapon that will expose them before the eyes of the sheep.

To help myself in this, I always keep the distinction before my eyes that Jesus made between the scribes and Pharisees, on the one hand; and poor sinners, on the other. With the first, He was satirical, ironic, and inscrutable; at times with weal, but almost always woe. Sometimes even a whip. He called them "hypocrites" over and over again, publicly.

Sinners, though, He hung with and led to faith and repentance.

We ought to take Him as our model. It won't be easy to diagnose the person with just one comment, lacking the additional details personal contact gives us. And often our diagnosis will differ with one of us seeing a sinner where the other sees a wolf. That’s fine.

What we all need to see, though, is that there is a place for exposure of wolves. And when we’re dealing with an elder or pastor who’s a wolf, exposure is required. In this connection, I often think of Luther’s comment (particularly the final paragraph):

“In regard to doctrine we observe especially this defect that, while some preach about the faith by which we are to be justified, It is still not clearly enough explained how one shall attain to this faith, and almost all omit one aspect of the Christian faith without which no one can understand what faith is or means. For Christ says in the last chapter of Luke [24:47] that we are to preach in his name repentance and forgiveness of sins.

"Many now talk only about the forgiveness of sins and say little or nothing about repentance. There neither is forgiveness of sins without repentance nor can forgiveness of sins be understood without repentance. It follows that if we preach the forgiveness of sins without repentance that the people imagine that they have already obtained the forgiveness of sins, becoming thereby secure and without compunction of conscience. This would be a greater error and sin than all the errors hitherto prevailing. Surely we need to be concerned lest, as Christ says In Matt. 12 [:45] 'the last state becomes worse than the first.'

"Therefore we have instructed and admonished pastors that it is their duty to preach the whole gospel and not one portion without the other. For God says in Deut. 4 [:2]: ‘You shall not add to the word ...nor take from it.’ There are preachers who now attack the pope because of what he has added to the Scriptures, which unfortunately is all too true. But when these do not preach repentance, they tear out a great part of Scripture. They have very little good to say about the eating of meat and the like, though they should not keep silent when they have an opportunity to defend Christian liberty against tyranny. What else is this than what Christ says in Matthew 23 [:24]: ‘Straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel?’

"So we have admonished them to exhort the people diligently and frequently to repent and grieve over their sins and to fear the judgment of God. Nor are they to neglect the greatest and most important element of repentance, for both John and Christ condemned the Pharisees more severely for their hypocritical holiness than for ordinary sins. The preachers are to condemn the gross sins of the common man, but more rigorously demand repentance where there is false holiness."

With love and deep appreciation for the help you all give in your comments, here,

Tim Bayly

Tim

Dear Ben,

Yes, it would be good to talk. In a few weeks? I'll pass along your comment to Joseph and maybe the next time he's in your area, you guys can see one another. That would be good.

Thank you for your kind invitation. Love to your brothers and parents,

Tim Bayly

A very small part of what makes me so angry about Planned Parenthood is that they pay lip service to the adoption option while pouring all their monetary resources into abortion. Adoption can be a VERY expensive process and many couples who could afford to care for an adopted child cannot afford the legal fees. If Planned Parenthood would take a fraction of what they use to promote and enable abortion and use it to support couples who would willingly, lovingly, joyfully adopt "unwanted" babies, a huge difference could be made.
